User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
A range of simple buildings should be simulated with the building simulation program undergoing testing automatically prior to all other tests. These should be considered an acceptance test intended to weed out unstable versions of the software that would not be fruitful to use for further debugging. Acceptance tests are often automated and may be provided to the programmers as a way to reduce the number of versions submitted for testing.
1. Building the confidence of the client and the users is the role of acceptance test
Phase.
2. It is depend on the Business Scenario.

Vijay - This is a very interesting post. I think however that it is somewhat out of context and misleading. User acceptance testing is best understood as testing performed to verify that software code under development and scheduled for release meets the stated business need or solves the identified business problem. The ssumption being that the functionality has already been confirmed through system testing. Put simply UAT is designed to answer the question "Did the project team understand the business need or problem and meet that need or solve that problem to an acceptable degree?"
Have you tried Vienna User acceptance testing available on download.com? Its pretty useful.
